FLIR Receives Two Security Awards at ISC West 2019

This week, two FLIR Security products were recognized with awards while attending ISC West in Las Vegas: FLIR Saros ™ DH-390 received the 2019 Security Industry Association’s (SIA) New Product Showcase Award for the category of Outdoor Perimeter Protection, and FLIR TruWITNESS® was awarded Platinum for Security Today magazine’s 2019 Govies Government Security Awards in the Security and Risk Intelligence category. Both awards recognize innovation and excellence in the security industry’s products, services, and solutions, of which the FLIR Saros and TruWITNESS products are both considered to be.

The first camera in the Saros outdoor security camera product line, Saros DH-390 combines first-class perimeter protection technologies into a unified solution that delivers accurate, actionable alerts, and verified alarm data. The camera improves wide area coverage, detection, and remote guarding for commercial businesses and security alarm monitoring companies. Identified as a true differentiator in the industry for its unique combination of thermal and visible sensors for imaging in all conditions, advanced onboard analytics, and cloud-enabled to integrate with leading central monitoring software and video management systems, the FLIR Saros DH-390 secures its place as the SIA winner for Outdoor Perimeter Protection.

FLIR TruWITNESS took Security Today magazine’s Platinum in the Security and Risk Intelligence category for its state-of-the-art wearable sensor platform designed to expand true real-time situational awareness for city-level security and public safety operations in Smart Cities. Worn on an individual’s body or mounted inside vehicles, TruWITNESS combines video, audio, location data, and IoT capabilities. Together, these sensors send alerts and stream data back to a central command center running FLIR United VMS for improved incident analysis and intervention from first responders.
