My camera suddenly shows a blue screen or a checkerboard pattern instead of a live image. What is wrong?

This can happen if the lens is not mounted correctly when the camera starts. To fix this, follow this procedure:

1.     Turn off the camera.
2.     Remove and re-seat the lens.
3.     Re-start the camera.

Note: This article applies to the following camera models:

• T6xx and A6xx will show a solid blue screen when the lens is loose.
• P6xx and SC6xx will show a checkerboard pattern when the lens is loose.
