FLIR PRIMED Episode 31: Interview with the National Forensic Science Technology Center


The National Forensic Science Technology Center (NFSTC), an innovative center located in Largo, Florida, works with laboratory, law enforcement and military professionals to improve forensic science practice around the world. In FLIR PRIMED episode 31, Grant Coffey is joined by Kevin Lothridge, Executive Director, and Kirk Grates, Forensic Chemistry Section Lead, for a look inside the NFSTC's scenario-based training facility. They discuss the various technologies used by field responders, what's different in a lab versus on-scene, how forensic science has been simplified for the field, and take a look at ways technologies like GC-MS has sovled real-world problems for responders.
