Saving images to SD card takes >25 seconds. How can I make sure time to save images to SD card is shortest possible?

If you have formatted SD cards with tools provided in Windows XP, you may end up with long response time when there are many files on the card (>250 images). If you use the format option FAT32, you will always get long saving times, and also ordinary FAT will in some cases cause problem with cards that are delivered with the camera.

Using a formatting program from SDCARD.ORG which is compatible with SD card standard, we have not seen any problem. This works also with 1GB cards that will replace 256MB in delivery packages.
