FLIR GF77 GAS FIND IR SERIES

Affordable, Dependable Uncooled Gas Detection

Use just one device to find gas leaks and perform thermal inspections on electrical/mechanical systems across a range of industries.

This ground-breaking camera series offers the flexibility to detect sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), ethylene, or ammonia for electrical utility, agriculture, and public safety applications. Simply by switching lenses, this same camera also detects methane, R-134a, sulfur dioxide, and more at natural gas facilities, chemical plants, or in industrial manufacturing—making the GF77 Gas Find IR Series an affordable choice for uncooled gas detection.

Building on the release of our methane-detecting GF77 camera, FLIR now offers this uncooled gas detection camera with two lens types—low-range (7 to 8.5 μm) and high-range (9.5 to 12 μm)—for finding multiple types of gas leaks with just one camera.

The GF77 does more than visualize gases; this ergonomic, easy to use camera is calibrated for temperature, so inspectors can use it to verify tank levels, search for electrical faults, perform predictive maintenance, and more.

The GF77 Gas Find IR Series offers two types of lenses—low-range (LR) and high-range (HR)—in a standard 25° field of view or as a 6° telephoto lens. The LR lens has a built-in 7–8.5 µm wavelength filter for visualizing methane, nitrous oxide, propane, sulfur dioxide, R-134a, and R-152a. The HR lens filters the 9.5–12 µm wavelength for visualizing sulfur hexafluoride, ammonia, and ethylene. Both the LR and HR lenses are compatible with the GF77 camera body*.

*Lenses that are not purchased with the GF77 camera require calibration at a FLIR service center.

Plan Out Your Inspection Routes with FLIR Thermal Studio Pro

Prepare inspection route and streamline your surveys with the GF77 and FLIR routing software. FLIR Thermal Studio Pro software together with the Route Creator Plugin can help you prepare for your workday by setting an efficient inspection route. Then, with the FLIR Inspection Routing software added to the camera, you can download and run the route directly from your GF77.
